1. Sourav Ganguly
It was under Sourav Ganguly's captaincy that India learned to win abroad. It was under his captaincy that Team India got excellent players like Yuvraj Singh, Zaheer Khan, and Harbhajan Singh. Ganguly was as good a captain as he was a player. He is one of the few players who have played more than 300 ODIs for Team India. He has played many such innings for Team India that will be remembered for years. Ganguly, known as the Prince of Kolkata, is the highest run-scorer left-handed batsman for India. He has scored 18433 runs in 421 international matches for India, which includes 38 centuries.
2. Yuvraj Singh
Yuvraj Singh is known for his explosive batting and deadly bowling. He single-handedly won the ODI World Cup and T20 World Cup titles for India. He became the Player of the Tournament for Team India in the ODI World Cup 2011. He had no competition in hitting sixes in the world of cricket. He has scored 11686 runs in 399 international matches for Team India. He has scored a total of 17 centuries in his international career.
3. Shikhar Dhawan
Shikhar Dhawan made his ODI debut for India in 2010. After his debut, he was in and out of Team India for many years. After this, the then captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni gave him the responsibility of opening in the Champions Trophy 2013 and he proved to be the biggest hero for Team India. He scored a total of 363 runs including two centuries in the Champions Trophy 2013 and played an important role in helping Team India win the Champions Trophy title. Dhawan is the third-highest run-scorer left-handed batsman for India. He has scored 10867 runs in international cricket, which includes 24 centuries.
