Shafali Verma has now become the youngest and fastest (in terms of balls faced) batter in the history of women's T20Is to reach the 3,000-run mark.
- Youngest Player Record: Shafali achieved this milestone at the age of just 22 years and 220 days. She shattered the record previously held by Ireland's Gaby Lewis (24 years, 347 days).
- Fastest to 3,000 Runs (By Balls Faced): She completed 3,000 runs having faced only 2,182 balls. Previously, this record was held by Australian legend Alyssa Healy, who achieved the feat in 2,321 balls.

Shafali, who made her T20I debut for India in 2019 at the age of just 15, has now become the third Indian female batter to score 3,000 runs. Before her, only captain Harmanpreet Kaur and Smriti Mandhana had reached this milestone.
Known for her fearless and aggressive batting style, Shafali has gained immense international experience at a very young age and is counted among the most dangerous opening batters in world cricket today.
