The BCCI has announced the teams for the Women's T20 Challenge. For the Women's T20 Challenge 2022 season, Harmanpreet Kaur has been given the captaincy of Supernovas, Smriti Mandhana as Trailblazer, and Deepti Sharma as Velocity team. The All India Women's Selection Committee selected the players for these 3 teams. Each team has 16 players selected. The Women's T20 Challenge is to be organized during the last leg of IPL 2022 matches. This season the women's T20 challenge will be organized from 23 to 28 May at the Maharashtra Cricket Stadium (MCA), Pune.
