The standout feature of the T20 squad is the selection of young batter Kamil Pooran, who has earned his maiden international call-up for the West Indies. Pooran delivered a spectacular batting performance in his debut CPL season for the St. Lucia Kings, scoring 273 runs in 8 matches at a strike rate of 159.34.
In addition to Kamil Pooran:
- Quentin Sampson and Keemo Paul have returned to the T20 squad.
- Experienced all-rounder Jason Holder has been rested for the T20 series as part of workload management.
