Team India has been announced for the three-match T-20 series against Afghanistan. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have returned to the T20 team after a long time, while many senior players have been given rest. However, KL Rahul, who is in excellent form, has been ignored by the selectors. This neglect of Rahul has not been liked at all by the fans on social media.
KL Rahul has not been included in the team selected for the three-match T20 series against Afghanistan. Rahul is in very good form at the moment and his bat also performed well during the South Africa tour. Despite this, Rahul has not been included in the 16-member team. Fans are angry on social media over Rahul being ignored.
If Rohit can play T20I on captaincy quota then what was KL Rahul's mistake? pic.twitter.com/1NA6mOrrUy

KL Rahul played his last T20 match against England in the year 2022. Rahul has played a total of 72 T20 matches for the Indian team so far. During this period, the right-handed batsman has scored 2265 runs at a strike rate of 139. Rahul has also scored two centuries and 22 half-centuries in the shortest format of cricket. However, Rahul's strike rate has been under a lot of question mark in recent times. In the year 2022, Rahul scored runs at a strike rate of 126.
Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul have been rested for the three-match T20 series against Afghanistan. The performance of Bumrah and Siraj in South Africa was amazing.
Sanju Samson has also been included in the Indian team selected against Afghanistan. Sanju did not get a place in the T-20 team on the South Africa tour. Shivam Dubey, who played his last match for India in the Asian Games, has also returned.
