The Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) on Wednesday announced the schedule of the much-awaited Delhi Premier League 2024 (DPL). The first edition of Delhi's T20 franchise league will begin on Saturday, August 17 and the final match will be held on August 8. It will feature some of the biggest names in Indian cricket.
Delhi Premier League announced ten teams after the players' auction. Six men's teams and four women's teams will participate in the first edition of the tournament. Star wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant and experienced bowler Ishant Sharma have both been signed by the Delhi 6 team and will be playing in the first match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Saturday.
