On Star Sports, Kaif has announced the names of 15 possible players who can be included in the Indian team for the T20 World Cup. Kaif has selected captain Rohit Sharma to open with Yashasvi Jaiswal in his 15-member team. Whereas, Kaif has given place to Kohli at number 3. Recently, there is a lot of debate about Kohli's strike rate but Kaif has given him a place at number 3 in the team. Along with this, the former Indian legend has selected Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya for number 4 and number 5 respectively. After this, Rishabh Pant has become Kaif's choice for wicketkeeper batsman.

Apart from Ravindra Jadeja, Kaif has also included Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal in the probable team selected for the T20 World Cup.
