Kolkata Knight Riders all-rounder Sunil Narine has closed the doors of taking a U-turn from his retirement for the T20 World Cup 2024. Narine, who has performed brilliantly with both ball and bat for KKR in the current IPL, has refused to return from retirement.
Remember that last year Sunil Narine had retired from international cricket. However, 36-year-old Narine has attracted everyone's attention with his brilliant performance in the current IPL season. Many people insisted Sunil Narine to make a comeback.
West Indies captain Rovman Powell recently said that he has been talking to Narine for more than a year about making a comeback. His effort will be to convince the all-rounder to play in the T20 World Cup 2024.
However, Sunil Narine issued a statement on his Instagram account saying that he is very happy to know about the request to return from retirement and play in the T20 World Cup. Narine said that he is satisfied with his decision and will support the team from home.

The IPL 2024 season has been great so far for Sunil Narine. Sunil Nare, who came to bat in the top order for KKR, has scored 286 runs in seven matches at an average of 40.86 and strike rate of 176.54. At the same time, he also did wonders with the ball and took 9 wickets. KKR team is currently occupying the second position in the points table.
