England bowlers brought the team back into the match by taking wickets in Australia's first innings in the second session on Friday, the second day of the fifth and final Test of the Ashes series. After lunch, Stuart Broad dismissed Usman Khawaja 47 on the fifth ball and then Travis Head 04 his 150th victim in the Ashes.
With this Stuart Broad became the third and the first player of England to take 150 wickets in the Ashes.
With Moeen Ali out of the ground due to injury, Alex Carey hit a six against Joe Root, who was taking care of the spin bowling, but the experienced player trapped Carey in his next ball.
