Colombo: Former Sri Lankan captain and wicket-keeper batsman Kusal Perera will miss the full limited-overs series against India due to injury while pacer Binura Fernando has been ruled out of the ODI series.

Sri Lanka Cricket gave this information on Friday. Note that the ODI series is starting from July 18, while three matches of the T20 series will be played later.
And on Thursday, the timing of the matches of both the series has been changed.
Perera has a strain on his right shoulder while Fernando sprained his ankle during practice.
Sri Lanka Cricket said in a statement, “Kusal Perera will miss the ODI and T20 series against India due to injury.
There is a strain in his right shoulder. Fast bowler Binura Fernando has been ruled out of the ODI series due to a sprain in his left ankle.
The six-match limited overs series will start from the first ODI on July 18.

However, the withdrawal of two players is a big blow for the Sri Lankan team, which is already weak about its players.
And the lack of them especially Kusal Perera is going to be sorely missed.
