In the second ODI match played against Afghanistan, Shakib has achieved another new milestone in international cricket. The former Bangladesh captain has registered his name in the list of veteran bowlers like Shane Warne, Muttiah Muralitharan.
Shakib Al Hasan bowled brilliantly in the second ODI against Afghanistan, taking two wickets while conceding 50 runs in his 10-over spell. Shakib showed the way to the pavilion to Gurbaz and Rashid Khan, who played century innings. Along with taking two wickets, Shakib has also completed 400 international wickets in his home soil i.e. Bangladesh. Shakib is just the 9th bowler in the world to achieve this feat.
Shakib Al Hasan is only the fifth spinner in the world to take 400 international wickets in his country. Along with this, the former Bangladesh captain has also included his name in the list of veterans. Only Muttiah Muralitharan, Shane Warne, Anil Kumble and Ravichandran Ashwin have been able to take 400 wickets on home soil. Shakib achieved this feat by sending Gurbaz to the pavilion.
