RR Playing 11 IPL 2025: After the end of the second day of the IPL 2025 mega auction in Jeddah city of Saudi Arabia today on 25 November, this auction also ended. In these two days of the mega auction, 10 franchises spent money like water to buy players.
While some players created history in the IPL auction, many star players did not find a buyer. Rishabh Pant became the most expensive player to be sold for 27 crores in this auction, 395 players including Piyush Chawla, Kane Williamson, Shardul Thakur, Jonny Bairstow and David Warner were disappointed.
On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals (RR), the champions of the first season of IPL, have strengthened their team by buying some big players in this auction. Before the mega auction, Rajasthan had retained Indian team's star batsmen Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson, Dhruv Jurel, Riyan Parag and Sandeep Sharma. Rajasthan Royals retained Assam batsman Riyan Parag for Rs 14 crore ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction. The 23-year-old cricketer, who made his ODI and T20 debut for India this year, has scored 1173 runs in 70 IPL matches played so far. He was RR's leading run scorer in IPL 2025, scoring 573 runs in 16 matches.
Dhruv Jurel: The promising young wicket-keeper batsman can play a crucial role in the middle order. Wicketkeeper batsman Dhruv Jurel was also retained by RR for Rs 14 crore. The 23-year-old Jurel made his IPL debut in 2023 and has 347 runs to his name in 28 matches.

Shimron Hetmyer: The explosive West Indian batsman is a destructive force in the lower order. RR showed great faith in West Indies middle-order batsman Shimron Hetmyer by retaining him for Rs 11 crore ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction. The left-handed batsman, who led the West Indies to the Under-19 World Cup title in 2016, will once again play the role of a finisher. Hetmyer has scored a total of 1243 runs in the 72 IPL matches he has played so far.

Jofra Archer: The English pacer is a world-class bowler and will lead the bowling attack. Jofra Archer will play for RR again in IPL 2025.
