Rahul Dravid's son Samit Dravid selected for India's Under-19 team: Former Indian batsman and former head coach Rahul Dravid's son Samit has been selected in the Indian Under-19 team for the series against Australia. Samit has been included in the team for both ODI and four-day series. Three ODIs and two four-day matches will be played in this series. The ODI team will be led by Mohammad Aman, while the captaincy of the four-day matches has been handed over to Soham Patwardhan. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the team for this.

The three-match ODI series will start from September 21, the next two matches will be played on September 23 and 26. These matches will be held in Puducherry. After this, four-day matches will be held in Chennai on September 30 and October 7.

Samit Dravid is a fast bowling all-rounder and is currently playing for Mysore Warriors in the KSCA Maharaja T20 Trophy. His batting performance has been disappointing at the moment and he has scored 82 runs in seven innings with his highest score being 33 runs. Samit has not bowled in the tournament so far. However, he performed well in the Cooch Behar Trophy at the beginning of the year and played an important role in helping Karnataka win the title for the first time. The 18-year-old player scored 362 runs in eight matches and scored 98 runs against Jammu. Apart from this, he also performed effectively with the ball and took 16 wickets in eight matches, including two wickets against Mumbai in the final.
