Peshawar Zalmi clinched the PSL 2026 title by defeating the Hyderabad Kingsmen by 5 wickets in the final. They maintained their dominance throughout the tournament, winning 8 of their 10 league matches and losing only one. One of their matches was washed out due to rain.

Subsequently, they continued their magnificent form in the playoffs as well, defeating Islamabad United in the Qualifier before overcoming the Hyderabad Kingsmen in the final. This marks their second title; they won their first championship in 2017. They will be awarded a prize purse of USD 500,000, the amount designated for the winners of PSL 2026.

Runners-Up: Hyderabad Kingsmen

After losing their first four matches in PSL 2026, very few experts gave the Hyderabad Kingsmen a chance. Playing in their very first season, they got off to an abysmal start; however, under the captaincy of Marnus Labuschagne, they turned the tables and staged a spectacular comeback.

Finishing in fourth place, they qualified for the playoffs. In Eliminator 1, they defeated the Multan Sultans, and subsequently, in Eliminator 2, they secured their spot in the final by beating Islamabad United in a thrilling encounter. In the final, Peshawar Zalmi brought their magnificent journey to a halt. They were awarded a sum of USD 300,000—the prize money designated for the runners-up of PSL 2026.
