Pakistan Cricket Board chief Zaka Ashraf has given his clarification regarding India before the ICC World Cup 2023. He has called India not an enemy but a traditional rival. A video had gone viral on social media, in which Ashraf, while discussing new contracts for Pakistani players, was calling India a enemy country or enemy country.

After the embarrassment, PCB issued a statement. In this statement, Zaka Ashraf appreciated the wonderful welcome given to the Pakistan cricket team upon reaching Hyderabad. Pakistan cricket team arrived at Hyderabad airport for the ICC ODI World Cup on Wednesday, September 27.

Zaka Ashraf said, the wonderful welcome of Pakistan men's cricket team in India for the World Cup proves how much love the people of both the countries have for each other's players. This love was evident from the welcome ceremony organized at Hyderabad Airport.
Zaka Ashraf further said that India and Pakistan are not enemies but traditional rivals in cricket. He emphasized that Pakistan has always been warmly welcomed when it comes to India. Pakistan will aim to win its second ODI World Cup title, while India will aim to win its third ODI World Cup title.
