PAK vs WI: The West Indies team is on a tour of Pakistan where they have to play 2 test matches. The first test match between the two teams has been played in Multan in which Pakistan won by 127 runs. Now the second test match is starting in Multan from January 25 and on the very first day of the match, Pakistani bowler Noman Ali has created a stir in the dressing room of the Caribbean players.
Noman Ali created history by performing brilliantly on the first day (25 January, Saturday) of the second Test match being played against West Indies at Multan Cricket Stadium.
Noman achieved a new feat for Pakistan by taking a hat-trick during the first innings of West Indies. He has become the first Pakistani spinner to take a hat-trick in Test cricket.
In the 11th over of the second Test, Noman first got Justin Greaves caught by Babar Azam for 1 run. After this, on the very next ball, he dismissed Tevin Imlach for zero, whose catch was also taken by Babar. Then on the third ball, Kevin Sinclair was dismissed with a brilliant spinning delivery, he was caught by Babar at second slip. Babar took a brilliant catch while bending to the right.
Noman Ali became the first Pakistani spinner to take a hat-trick in Test cricket: Noman Ali has become the fourth Pakistani bowler to take a hat-trick in Test cricket. And the first spin bowler. Pakistan has been playing Test cricket since 1952 and for the first time in 72 years a Pakistani spinner has taken a hat-trick of wickets in Tests. Before him, this feat was achieved by fast bowlers Wasim Akram, Abdul Razzaq, Mohammad Sami and Naseem Shah.
Noman Ali, a left-arm orthodox spinner from Pakistan, was born on 7 October 1986 in Sindh, Pakistan. He made his international Test debut in 2021 and made a mark with his accurate line-length and economical bowling.
After a brilliant performance in domestic cricket, he became an important part of the national team. Noman is adept at taking wickets by bowling long spells in Test cricket and has made his place in the record books.
