The 52ns match of the Pro Kabaddi League 2022 will be a Maharashtrian derby as U Mumba gear up to lock horns with Puneri Paltan. Both teams will be desperate for a win.
The Mumbai-based franchise is currently placed fifth with 25 points from eight matches. They have registered three wins, two losses and three draws this season so far.
On the other side, Puneri Paltan stands 11th having lost five of their eight fixtures. The Nitin Tomar-led outfit has a score difference of -29 in the PKL after eight matches.
While the Mumbai-based franchise is above Puneri Paltan on the points table, the season two champs suffered a 20-point defeat in their last game against the Patna Pirates.
Meanwhile, Puneri Paltan had crushed defending champions the Bengal Warriors by 17 points in their last outing and will be keen to continue in the same vein tonight.

Abhishek Singh: Abhishek Singh starred for U Mumba last season and though this season has been more of a roller-coaster, he has inflicted some serious damage on his day. He has started this season well and is the sides protagonist with 65 raid points in the 8 games and is leading the side raiding department.
Rinku HC: It is always good to see youngsters rise to the occasion and Rinku has done just that. The right-corner defender put in 3 successful tackles in the last game and 7 in the game before, to take his tally to 24 for the season. He will be key in this game.
Fazel Atrachali: Fazel Atrachali is the experienced player on the side, holding the young guns together. He had a sluggish start to the season but has come into his own lately and has scored 15 tackle points, including 9 in the last 3 games.
Mohit Goyat: Mohit Goyat has taken up the lead role in the absence of the star raiders in the side and the youngster has done a fine job. He has 32 raid points to his name. He didnt have a great last game in the raiding department but made up for it by pulling off 2 successful tackles. He will look to turn it around tonight.
Aslam Inamdar: In the light of the failure of Tomar and Rahul to put up solid performances, Inamdar has stepped up and is delivering the goods for Puneri Paltan. The all-rounder has scored 48 raid points, while he has accumulated 12 tackle points. He was superb in the last game and will hold the key yet again in this game.
Abinesh Nadarajan: Abinesh Nadarajan was brought into the side after the first game and it turned out to be a masterstroke as the right-cover defender scored 5 tackle points in his first game. He will be key against the strong U Mumba raiding department as he looks to add to his tally of 18 tackle points, 5 of which came in the last game.
