Lucknow Super Giants will take on Delhi Capitals in their next encounter at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai. After losing their first game to Gujarat Titans, the Lucknow franchise has come out with a positive mindset and has managed to win the next two games. The KL Rahul-led side will be highly confident after the victory in their previous encounter as the franchise managed to defend a score of 169 in a closely fought game against the Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Delhi Capitals have won and lost one game each so far in their campaign this year. They failed to chase down 172 in the previous game against Gujarat Titans. They are likely to be bolstered by the availability of David Warner as he has been a match-winner in the tournament over the years and will provide a lot of impetus at the top of the order. The bowling department has fared decently so far, while the batting department needs to step up.
All eyes will be on David Warner from Delhi Capitals. Warner can play the first IPL match this season. Apart from this, the glory of Prithvi Shaw has not been seen yet. In such a situation, today Pant would like Shaw to show his flair. Apart from this, Pant himself would like to show the best game. Although Rishabh Pant played a good inning in the last match but could not get the team to win. Rovman Powell, Axar Patel, and Kuldeep Yadav will be seen.
From Lucknows side, all eyes will be on Captain KL Rahul. Rahul batted well in the last match. Apart from this, Krunal Pandya and Jason Holder can prove to be the X factor for the team. Evin Lewis and Deepak Hooda are very important to the team.

Prithvi Shaw did fail to provide a fiery start to DC in the previous match. But, he showed a bit of his potential against MI in the opening game when he scored 38 runs off 24 deliveries which included 4 fours and 2 sixes.
Evin Lewis played a key role for LSG in the win against CSK. He scored 55 runs off just 23 deliveries and won the player of the match award. LSG won that game by 4 wickets and Lewis remained not-out.
Deepak Hooda has contributed with both the bat and the ball in the tournament. He already has scored 2 half-centuries in 3 matches. In the previous match against SRH, he scored 51 runs off 33 deliveries and helped LSG reach a total of 169 runs.
Jason Holder made his debut for LSG in the previous match against SRH. He faced 3 deliveries and hit 1 out of the park. With the ball, Holder picked up 3 wickets in 4 overs and gave away 34 runs.
Avesh Khan won the player of the match award in the last game against SRH. He dismissed both the openers in the powerplay overs and changed the course of the match by picking 2 more wickets in the 18th over including that of Nicholas Pooran. Avesh bowled his quota of 4 overs and gave away 24 runs.
Mustafizur Rahman made his debut for DC in the last game against GT. He opened the bowling for DC and went on to pick 3 wickets. Mustafizur gave away 23 runs in 4 overs.
Lokesh Rahul has not looked back since getting dismissed for a duck in the first game against GT. He has played a key role for LSG with the bat in the previous two matches. Against CSK, Rahul made 40 runs off 26 deliveries and followed it with a knock of 68 runs off 50 deliveries against SRH.
This match between the two teams is going to be played at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. The role of dew is also important on this ground. So far this season, 4 matches have been played on this ground in which the team batting first has been successful in winning 2 matches, while the team batting later in 2 matches has become the winner. In such a situation, it is difficult to say which team will get the advantage. But the dew falls more on the ground at night, so the team winning the toss can decide to bowl first.
