This information has been given in a statement issued by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). In this statement, Secretary Jai Shah has told that this time 87 players can bid in the mini-auction. Of these, the number of foreign players will be 30.

IPL 2023 Auction

IPL 2023 Auction Mini auction for Indian Premier League 2023 will be held in Kochi on 23 December. This time a total of 991 cricketers including 714 Indians have given their names for the mini auction. Players from 14 countries including India will participate in IPL 2023.

This information has been given in a statement issued by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). In this statement, Secretary Jai Shah has told that this time 87 players can bid in the mini auction. Of these, the number of foreign players will be 30.

Australia has the highest number of 57 among overseas players. At the same time, 52 players from South Africa have given their names. This time not many players will be sold in the auction. There is room for 87 players only.

BCCI secretary Jai Shah said

In a release issued by the Cricket Board of India (BCCI), secretary Jai Shah said, "If each franchise includes a maximum of 25 players in their team, then a total of 87 players will be auctioned in this auction." There can be 30 overseas players. The list of players includes 185 capped (having represented the national team), 786 uncapped and 20 players from associate countries. There are 604 uncapped Indian players in this list, out of which 91 have been a part of IPL before.
