Chris Gayle is undoubtedly at number one in terms of hitting the most number of sixes in the Indian Premier League, but in the case of sixes, many great records are also registered in the name of MS Dhoni. One of these records is the record of hitting most sixes in the last over i.e. 20th over in IPL matches. In all the matches played so far in IPL, if we talk about hitting the most sixes in the 20th over, then the name of CSK team captain MS Dhoni comes in the first place.

In the last 14 seasons of IPL, MS Dhoni has hit the most number of sixes in the last over of the matches i.e. 20th over. He has hit a total of 50 sixes in the last over i.e. 20th over of IPL matches and is present at number one. On the other hand, Kieron Pollard is second in terms of doing such a feat after MS Dhoni, who has hit 30 sixes. Mumbai Indian captain Rohit Sharma is present in this list at number three with 23 sixes, while Hardik Pandya has also hit 23 sixes and he is also jointly at number three with Rohit.
Dhoni is the best finisher of the Chennai Super Kings, he has finished almost every match in style. He has also scored runs for the team, Dhoni plays at 5th to score in the last overs. In his 206 matches for IPL, he has hit 50 sixes in the total last over.

The best all-rounder has been the finest player of Chennai Super Kings, he has hit 22 sixes in his last over.
Talking about CSK team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, he has so far scored 4746 runs in this league in 220 matches at an average of 39.55. Dhoni has scored 23 half-centuries in these matches and his best score so far is 84 not out. Dhoni has hit 325 fours and 219 sixes in these matches.
