IPL 2022 Qualified Teams – Though there are 10 teams participating in the IPL 2022 season, only 4 teams will qualify to play the playoff rounds among which 2 teams will play the finals of the tournament.
The top 4 teams presiding at the top of the IPL 2022 Points Table will be eligible to play the play-off rounds. That is after each team has played 14 games apiece – the four teams at the top of the points table will qualify for the playoffs.
Among 10 teams playing in IPL 2022 tournament, the top 4 teams in the IPL 2022 points table will be qualified to enter the IPL 2022 playoff rounds from which top teams will lock their horns to play the IPL 2022 finals. Gujarat Titans became the first franchise to qualify for the IPL 2022 playoffs. Lucknow became the second franchise to advance to the knockout stage of the competition. Rajasthan Royals qualified for the playoffs after beating Chennai Super Kings by five wickets becoming the third team to qualify. Mumbai Indians won by 5 wickets, guaranteeing RCBs qualification for the playoffs.

GT will take on RR in Qualifier 1, scheduled to take place on May 24 at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata. Meanwhile, LSG and RCB will square off in the Eliminator a day later at the same venue.The Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad will host Qualifier 2 on May 27.
The final will be held at the same venue on May 29.
