Indian schedule for Day 8: Paris Olympics 2024 has completed half of its journey. So far, India has won only three medals and all three medals have come in shooting. On Saturday, India's young star shooter Manu Bhaker will try to increase this number.
Manu Bhaker in the final: Manu Bhaker has won bronze for the country in 10m air pistol and bronze in 10m air pistol mixed team event. Now her eyes are set on the gold in 25m air pistol. The whole country is waiting for Manu's hat-trick. Manu had secured second place in the qualifying round on Friday. In such a situation, the expectation of a medal from Manu has increased even more.
Apart from Manu, India's veteran archers Deepika Kumari and Bhajan Kaur will also be seen in action in the women's individual round. On Friday, the pair of Ankita Bhakat and Dheeraj missed out on winning a historic bronze medal. However, their performance has also raised the hopes of the rest of the archers.
