The Indian team can be announced today for the remaining three matches of the ongoing five-match Test series between India and England. Virat Kohli, who was unavailable in the initial matches, may remain out of the next three matches also. The third match of this series will be played in Rajkot from 15th February while the second match will be played in Ranchi. Whereas, the final match will be played on March 7. Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul may return in the third test match. Both could not be a part of the last match due to injury. Currently, both the players are under the supervision of BCCI medical team at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru.

Before the team selection, on Thursday, star all-rounder Jadeja shared a post and informed that he is better than before. He posted a picture on his Insta handle with the caption, "Getting better. #NCA." At the same time, fast bowler Mohammad Siraj will also be available for selection in the upcoming matches. He was rested in the Test match played in Visakhapatnam. Siraj was made a part of the playing 11 in the first Test match, but he could not do justice to his name. He did not get any wicket in both the innings against England.

According to media reports, Virat joined the team in Hyderabad on January 22 before the start of the series against England, but on the same day he made himself unavailable for the first two Test matches citing personal reasons. He returned from Hyderabad the same day. BCCI had also issued a statement in this regard. It is still believed that due to personal reasons Virat will not be able to play the next two tests. And now Virat Kohli will not play even the last three test matches.
