Sri Lanka has won the World Cup Qualifier 2023. The team beat the Netherlands by 128 runs in the final, however, Sri Lanka, the 1996 champions, had already secured a World Cup ticket. Mahish Teekshana was the hero of this victory. He took 3 wickets for 18 runs. Teekshana was the man of the match, while Sean Williams, who took 3 wickets with 600 runs, was the player of the tournament.

The Netherlands won the toss and put Sri Lanka into bat at the Harare Sports Complex on Sunday. Batting first after losing the toss, Sri Lanka scored 233 runs. Chasing a target of 234 runs, the Netherlands were reduced to 105 runs.

From here on, Kusal Mendis and Sahan Arachige handled the Sri Lankan innings. Both shared a 64-run partnership on 75 balls for the fourth wicket.
