ICC Announces Practice Matches and Schedule for Champions Trophy 2025

The practice matches of the Champions Trophy 2025 will begin on February 14, with Pakistan Shaheens taking on South Africa at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced three different Pakistan Shaheens squads for these matches, with Mohammad Huraira leading the Shaheens against South Africa in Karachi, while Mohammad Haris will lead the Shaheens against Bangladesh in Dubai.

There will be no practice matches for India before the tournament. However, Bangladesh, which will begin its campaign against India, will play a practice match against Mohammad Haris-led Pakistan Shaheen on February 17.

first practice match will be played on 14 February between Pakistan team led by Shadab Khan at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. New Zealand will face Afghanistan at National Stadium in Karachi on 16 February. South Africa will also play its practice match on the same ground with the team led by Mohammad Huraira.

Champions Trophy 2025

The Champions Trophy 2025 is scheduled to begin from February 19, with Pakistan playing their first match against New Zealand in Karachi. The mega event will be held in a hybrid model, with India and one of the semi-final matches in Dubai and the rest in Lahore, Rawalpindi and Karachi in Pakistan. The venue of the final also depends on India's performance, if the Rohit-led side qualifies for the title then it will be held in Dubai. Otherwise, Pakistan will host the final.
