The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) released the schedule for the upcoming Test, ODI, and T20I series during the tour of New Zealand on Wednesday (June 3). These series, spanning all three formats, will be played within a period of three months. The series will commence on October 22 with the T20I matches. A total of five matches will be played in the T20I series. This will be followed by five ODIs and then two Test matches. Throughout this entire tour, Team India will play a total of 12 matches across all three formats combined. According to the schedule, this series—beginning in October—will run until December. If the final Test match runs for the full five days, the tour will conclude in December. The final match of this two-Test series is scheduled to be played between November 27 and December 1.
The matches of the upcoming T20 series will begin at 1:30 PM Indian Standard Time (IST). The T20 series matches will be played in Christchurch, Wellington, Auckland, and Hamilton. The ODI matches will start at 8:30 AM IST. The matches of this series will take place in Auckland, Wellington, Hamilton, and Mount Maunganui.
Meanwhile, the Test series matches will commence at 4:30 AM IST. To watch the Test series, Indian fans will have to sacrifice their sleep. Both matches of the 'Red Ball' series will be played in Wellington and Christchurch, respectively.
