Australia refuses to play three-match ODI series against Afghanistan, Cricket Australia condemns Taliban's decisions
Cricket Australia has decided to pull out of the ODI series against Afghanistan in March in response to increasing Taliban restrictions on the education and employment of women and girls. The Australian men's team was due to face Afghanistan in three ODIs in the United Arab Emirates as part of the ICC Super League but the series will not go ahead as planned following Thursday's announcement.
