  • Dispute with the referee: During the match, German referee Rudolf Kreitlein ordered Rattin to leave the field. (Note: At that time, the rule of 'yellow' or 'red' cards did not exist in football).
  • Demand for a translator: Rattin felt he was being treated unfairly and could not understand the referee's language. Therefore, he demanded a translator before leaving the pitch.
  • Sitting on the royal carpet: While leaving the field, he decided to register his protest by sitting on the red carpet reserved for Queen Elizabeth II.
