Australian cricketer Phillip Hughes died on 27 November 2014. Everyone was shocked to hear the news of his death. Hughes was batting on 63 runs in the domestic Sheffield Shield Trophy match in Sydney. During that time, he went forward to hook a ball of 22-year-old New South Wales bowler Sean Abbott, but missed and the ball went straight behind his head. After being hit by the bouncer, Hughes first put his hands on his knees and then he fell face down on the ground. After this, during treatment, it was found that a special nerve of his brain was hit, which caused heavy damage, which also became the cause of his death.

In this match played between Abhani and Mohammedan Club, Raman was fielding at short leg. Then the batsman played a fast shot and the ball hit his forehead.
