3 IPL Captains Who Never Lost A Match: It has been 16 years since the IPL started and so far 17 seasons have been played. Captaincy in this league has always proved to be difficult and there have been many international captains who proved to be flops here. The names of Australia's Ricky Ponting and India's Sourav Ganguly can be included at the top of this list. Both of them achieved a lot of success as captains at the international level but proved to be failures in the IPL.
However, if we look at the list of successful IPL captains, then the names of Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni come at the top in terms of winning the trophy. Both of them did the feat of winning the trophy as captain 5 times each. However, if we look at all the captains in Indian Premier League (IPL) history, there were only 3 such players who did not face defeat in their captaincy career. Nicholas Pooran replaced Krunal Pandya as the vice-captain of Lucknow Super Giants ahead of the 2024 IPL and got a chance to lead in one match. Rahul played as an impact player against Punjab Kings in the 11th match of the season and hence the captaincy was taken over by Nicholas Pooran. Nicholas Pooran's captaincy started as planned as Lucknow Super Giants Won this match against Punjab Kings by 21 runs.

Former New Zealand batsman Ross Taylor is also included in the list of captains who never lost in IPL. Taylor captained only one match in the 2013 season against Chennai Super Kings at Chepauk and led his team to victory. Pune Warriors won the match by 24 runs. However, Taylor was never seen captaining after this.

The name of the current captain of Team India, Suryakumar Yadav, is also included in this list. Suryakumar has captained only one match in the IPL, but Mumbai Indians won under his leadership. Suryakumar captained the 22nd match of IPL 2023 due to Rohit Sharma's illness and the Mumbai team won by 5 wickets.
