After the Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian government is preparing to surround Pakistan in every area. In this episode, the government has taken this action. Propaganda is spread against India on the channels of Pakistani media including former cricketer Shoaib Akhtar. This is the reason why the government has taken this strict decision.
After the action taken by the government, a message is being written on opening all the banned YouTube channels including Shoaib Akhtar. It states that, This content is currently not available in this country due to the government's order related to national security or public order.
Action also taken on YouTube channels of Pakistani media
Apart from Pakistani personalities like Shoaib Akhtar, Arzoo Kazmi and Syed Muzammil Shah, the Indian government has also banned major channels of Pakistani media in India. This includes YouTube channels of Dawn News, Samaa TV, Arya News, Geo News, GNN, Bol News, etc.
Government of India, on the recommendations of Ministry of Home Affairs, has banned 16 Pakistani YouTube channels including Dawn News, Samaa TV, Arya News, Geo News for broadcasting inflammatory and communally sensitive content, false and misleading statements and misinformation against India, its armed forces and security agencies in the backdrop of the tragic Pahalgam terror incident in Jammu and Kashmir," ANI quoted a government source as saying.
Pahalgam terrorist attack connection with Pakistan
On April 22, 2025, terrorists attacked tourists in Pahalgam, in which 26 people including 25 tourists were killed. It is reported that these terrorists were associated with The Resistance Force. This organization was formed by Hafiz Saeed to spread terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir. It is believed that they also get support from the Pakistani Army.
