Actually, the Kerala Cricket Association says that Sreesanth had made fabricated and derogatory allegations against the board. Why was Sreesanth banned?

KCA issued a statement stating that the show cause notice has been sent to Sreesanth not for supporting Samson but for making false and derogatory statements against KCA.

Countering Sreesanth's allegations, KCA had also raised the issue of spot fixing in IPL. In this case, KCA has imposed a ban of 3 years on Samson. When the Kerala Cricket Association dropped Samson from the Vijay Hazare Trophy team, S Sreesanth had made a controversial statement.
