Last date to apply
The last date to apply for JEE Main Session 2 is March 2. As per JEE Main Session 2 exam dates, NTA will conduct BE, B.Tech, B.Arch Paper 1 and 2 from April 1 to 15. Session 2 NTA conducted the JEE Main Session 1 examination on 1st February and the results will be declared on 12th February.
NTA said, 'It is mandatory to provide the mobile number and e-mail of the parent or guardian as a copy of the confirmation page during the submission of online application form of JEE (Main) – 2024, the final score card is also sent to them. Will go.
JEE Main 2024 Form: Login Options
This year, NTA has provided an additional platform of UMANG and DigiLocker to all the candidates to download their documents like JEE Main Scorecard, Admit Card.
Applicants are also advised to create a DigiLocker account through the National Academic Depository (NAD) portal to login to the official website of JEE Main. They will also be allowed to login using Academic Bank of Credits ID (ABC) ID, Passport Number, PAN Card Number or Aadhaar Card Number.
However, students who do not wish to create a DigiLocker account are advised to report to the examination center one hour before the entry time on the day of examination.
JEE Main 2024 Session 2: Who is eligible?
Candidates were given the option to apply for one session or both sessions together and pay the examination fee accordingly. Those who have already opted to appear in both sessions cannot apply again. Only those candidates who have passed Class 12, Intermediate or equivalent examinations in 2022, 2023, or who are appearing in Class 12 or equivalent examinations in 2024 are eligible to appear in JEE Mains 2024.
Candidates were provided the opportunity to appear in two sessions to improve their marks in the examination. "This will reduce the chances of a year being dropped and droppers will not have to waste the entire year," NTA said.
It is not mandatory for the candidates to appear in both the sessions. However, if a candidate appears in JEE Main January and April session, the best JEE Main NTA score will be considered while preparing the rank list.
