Elvish Yadav: Popular YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav has reportedly received a death threat along with an extortion demand of ₹10 crore. Following the incident, police reviewed the security around his Gurugram residence and transferred the investigation to the Crime Branch.
The alleged threat is said to be linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, though authorities are still verifying the authenticity of the claims.
Elvish Yadav Gets Shocking WhatsApp Threat Call From International Number
According to police sources, Elvish Yadav and his father allegedly received threatening messages on WhatsApp on May 5.
In his complaint filed at the Sector-56 police station in Gurugram, Elvish stated that he first received a missed WhatsApp call from an international number. Shortly after, threatening text messages allegedly followed.
The sender reportedly demanded ₹10 crore and warned of serious consequences if the payment was not made within two days.

‘Pay ₹10 Crore Or Face Consequences’: What Elvish Yadav’s Father Revealed
Speaking about the matter, Elvish Yadav’s father revealed that the sender identified himself as “Randeep Malik.”
He further claimed that the person threatened to shoot the 28-year-old YouTuber if the money was not paid on time.
The complaint has been registered under sections related to extortion and criminal intimidation under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
Security Tightened Around Elvish Yadav’s Gurugram Home After Threat
Family members informed the police that Elvish Yadav is currently not in Gurugram.
However, authorities have reviewed the security arrangements around his home as a precautionary measure. Police officials are now trying to trace the origin of the international number used to send the threatening messages.
The matter has officially been handed over to the Crime Branch for further investigation.

This is not the first time the YouTuber has faced serious threats.
Masked Attackers Opened Fire Outside Elvish Yadav’s House
In August last year, three masked men on a motorcycle allegedly opened fire outside Elvish Yadav’s residence in Gurugram’s Sector 57.
Reports stated that more than two dozen rounds were fired before the attackers fled the spot, creating panic in the area.

Earlier ₹1 Crore Extortion Attempt Shocked Fans
Apart from physical attacks, Elvish Yadav has also faced extortion attempts in the past.
In October 2023, Gurugram and Gujarat Police jointly arrested a 25-year-old man accused of trying to extort ₹1 crore from the YouTuber.
Crime Branch Begins Investigation Into Elvish Yadav Threat Case
Police officials are currently investigating whether the latest threat is genuinely connected to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang or if someone is misusing the gang’s name to create fear and extort money.
The Crime Branch is expected to examine digital evidence, trace the international number, and identify the individuals behind the threatening messages.
The incident has once again raised concerns over the safety of social media influencers and public figures who continue to face online threats, intimidation, and extortion attempts.
