CBSE Class 12 Results 2026: CBSE Class 12 results are expected soon
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the results for the Class 12 Board examinations of 2026 very soon. Millions of students have been eagerly awaiting their results for a long time. According to reports, the CBSE will release the Class 12 results within this very month. However, the Board has not yet announced an official date.
Once the results are released, students will be able to check their scores on the official CBSE website, results.cbse.nic.in. Additionally, the results can also be accessed via DigiLocker, the UMANG app, and the IVRS phone service. The Board has advised students to activate their DigiLocker accounts in advance so that they can easily download their digital mark sheets as soon as the results are published.
When were the examinations conducted?
The CBSE Board conducted the Class 12 examinations this year from February 17, 2026, to April 10, 2026. Subsequently, the evaluation of the answer sheets was completed expeditiously. Based on records from previous years, CBSE typically releases the results during the second week of May.
Therefore, it is expected that the CBSE Class 12 results for 2026 may also be released by the second week of May. In previous years, the Board released the results on May 13 in 2024, May 12 in 2023, and May 6 in 2019. Based on this pattern, it is anticipated that the results will be declared early this time as well.

Why is it necessary to activate DigiLocker?
The CBSE Board has advised all students to activate their DigiLocker accounts. According to the Board, digital mark sheets, passing certificates, and migration certificates will be made available on DigiLocker this year as well. If students activate their DigiLocker accounts in advance, they will be able to download their digital mark sheets immediately after the results are declared. For this, the 6-digit security PIN provided by the school will be required.
How to Activate Your CBSE DigiLocker Account?
- First, open the DigiLocker activation link.
- Now, select Class 12.
- Next, enter your School Code.
- Now, enter your Roll Number.
- Enter the 6-digit Security PIN received from your school.
- After that, enter your mobile number.
- Enter the OTP received on your mobile number.
- As soon as the OTP is verified, your DigiLocker account will be activated.
Check Results via IVRS:
In the absence of internet access, students can also check their results using the IVRS service.
