Asus ROG Phone 8 series will be launched on January
Tech company Asus will launch the next generation gaming smartphone 'Asus ROG Phone 8 Series' on January 9. The company has teased this smartphone on social media platforms.
According to media reports, the company will launch 2 smartphones in the ROG Phone 8 series – Asus ROG Phone 8 and Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro. Both phones will come with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and Qualcomm Adreno GPU.
The company has not yet given information about any specification of the phone. However, many information about the possible specifications of the smartphone have been revealed in media reports. Let us know about the specifications of the smartphone according to these reports.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Series 9: Expected Specifications
- Display: The company can provide 6.78 inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate in both the phones. The display will have the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
- Camera: For photography, ROG Phone 8 Pro will have a triple camera setup of 50MP + 13MP + 32MP. It may have a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calling. At the same time, no information has been revealed yet about the camera found in ROG Phone 8.
- Battery and Charging: For power backup, both the phones can get 5500mAh battery with Quick Charge 5.O support.
- Operating System: Android 14 based ROG UI operating system will be available in both the phones.
- Connectivity: Talking about connectivity, both the phones will have 5G, 4G, 3G, NFC, Bluetooth 5.4, 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi 6 and USB Type-C port for charging.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro will be launched in two variants
If media reports are to be believed, ROG Phone 8 will come in a single variant with 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. While the Pro model will be launched in two variants of 16GB RAM + 512GB storage and 24GB RAM + 1TB storage. The company can launch Asus ROG Phone 8 series at a starting price of Rs 79,999.
