The cricket schedule for the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games 2026 has been officially announced after the tournament draw. Defending champions India have learned their route, with the Indian women’s team set to face hosts Japan in the quarterfinals, while the men’s team will directly enter the quarterfinal stage.
The cricket tournament will be played in the T20 format, with all matches scheduled at the Korogi Athletic Park in Aichi Prefecture, Japan. The matches will also have full international status.

The Indian women’s cricket team, which won the gold medal at the Hangzhou Asian Games 2023, will begin its title defence against Japan in the quarterfinal match.
Led by Harmanpreet Kaur, Team India will aim to continue its dominance in Asian cricket. If India defeats Japan, they will face the winner of the Bangladesh vs China quarterfinal clash in the semifinal.

The Indian women’s team will be led by Harmanpreet Kaur, while Smriti Mandhana will serve as vice-captain.
In the men’s team, Shreyas Iyer will captain India, with Tilak Varma appointed as vice-captain. Young batting sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi has also been included in India’s 15-member squad.
