Abouts Sportivo Italiano:

Club Sportivo Italiano is an Argentine professional football club based in Ciudad Evita, within the La Matanza Partido of Greater Buenos Aires. The team currently competes in 'Primera B Metropolitana', the third division of the Argentine football league system.

The club was founded on May 7, 1955[2], by Italian immigrants residing in the Florida area (part of the Vicente López Partido in Greater Buenos Aires). Its initial name was "Associazione del Calcio Italiano in Argentina." In 1978, the organization merged with 'Sociedad Italiana' and was renamed "Club Deportivo Italiano." The club's name was changed for the last time in 2000, when it adopted its current name, "Club Sportivo Italiano."

The team has primarily played in the second and third divisions of Argentine football, although it spent a single season in the top division during the 1986–87 campaign. Despite finishing at the bottom of the league and facing relegation, that season marked the club's best-ever performance at the top level.
