Red Bull Bragantino is a football club based in the city of Bragança Paulista, in the Brazilian state of São Paulo. The club competes in 'Série A' (the top tier of the Brazilian football league system) and 'Campeonato Paulista Série A1' (the highest level of the São Paulo state football league).
The club was formerly known as 'Clube Atlético Bragantino'. In 2020, Red Bull GmbH took over the club's management and renamed it 'RB Bragantino'. Additionally, the club's traditional black and white colors were changed to red and white.
Although the partnership began in April 2019, the team competed in the 2019 'Campeonato Brasileiro Série B' (the second division of Brazilian football) under the name 'Bragantino', with Red Bull involved merely as a sponsor. It was renamed 'Red Bull Bragantino' for the 2020 season.
In their very first season, they became the 2019 'Série B' champions, earning promotion to 'Série A' and qualifying for the Round of 16 of the 2020 'Copa do Brasil'.
