Guwahati Royals is an active professional franchise cricket team participating in the inaugural season of the Assam Premier League (APL) 2026. Launched by Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, the team is an initiative of the 'Royal Group' and represents the host city, Guwahati. The franchise is led by captain Rishav Das, alongside Head Coach and former Indian domestic cricketer Abu Nechim Ahmed.
