Abouts Deportivo Camioneros:

It was founded in 2009 by Hugo Moyano (who was then the General Secretary of the General Confederation of Labour of the Argentine Republic) and his son, Pablo. The name reflects the club's affiliation with the truck drivers' union. Its primary activity is men's football; starting in 2026, it will compete in 'Primera B', the third tier for clubs directly affiliated with the AFA.

A notable feature of the 2024 season is that the club is participating in three tournaments simultaneously with different squads: the 'Liga Lujanense'; the 'Torneo Promocional Amateur' (Promotional Amateur Tournament)—the fifth and final tier for clubs directly affiliated with the AFA, which has replaced 'Primera D'; and the 'Torneo Federal A'—the third tier for clubs indirectly affiliated with the AFA.

In rugby, the club is a member of URBA and began competing in that union's inter-corporate tournament in 2017. Meanwhile, in futsal, it has been competing in the 'Primera División' since 2020. Additionally, it participates in competitions for athletics, auto racing, cycling, boxing, and volleyball.
