Abouts Deportes Temuco:

Club de Deportes Temuco is a Chilean football club based in Temuco, in the Araucanía region. It currently plays in the Chilean Primera División B and hosts its home matches at the new Estadio Municipal Germán Becker.

The club was originally founded as Deportes Temuco on February 22, 1960, and was re-established following a merger with Green Cross on March 20, 1965. Until 1984, the club was known as Green Cross-Temuco, and in 2007, it was renamed Deportivo Temuco for that season only.

In 2013, the club merged with Unión Temuco; however, the Deportes Temuco name, logo, and traditional white and green colors were retained, creating the impression that Deportes Temuco had absorbed Unión rather than the two having merged. Nevertheless, this merger allowed Deportes Temuco to move up from the Segunda División and return to the Primera B for the 2013–14 season, taking the place previously held by Unión Temuco in that league.
