The YONEX German Open 2026 represents the 67th edition of one of Europe’s most storied and prestigious badminton championships, having been a staple of the international circuit since its inception in 1955.

Classified as a BWF World Tour Super 300 event, this year’s tournament is held at the Westenergie Sporthalle in Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany, from 24 February to 1 March 2026.

It occupies a vital position in the 2026 BWF World Tour calendar as the fifth tournament of the season and serves as the strategic opening leg of the European circuit, immediately preceding the Super 1000 All England Open.
