Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2026 Teams – LPL 2026 is the sixth season of the Lanka Premier League, a franchise-based T20 cricket league held in Sri Lanka. The tournament is organized by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC). LPL 2026 will take place between July 17 and August 8, 2026. Five franchise teams are participating in this tournament.
The inaugural season of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) took place in 2020, featuring five teams representing different regions of Sri Lanka: Jaffna Stallions, Galle Gladiators, Dambulla Vikings, Colombo Kings, and Kandy Tuskers. Jaffna Kings have won the Lanka Premier League three times. However, there have been issues regarding the teams and their owners, and the five teams set to compete in the 2026 LPL are: Colombo Caps, Dambulla Sixers, Galle Marvels, Kandy Falcons, and Jaffna.
