India U19 tour of Sri Lanka 2026

The Indian men's Under-19 team's tour of Sri Lanka in 2026 is a bilateral cricket series scheduled to be played in Sri Lanka from July 4 to July 23, 2026. During this tour, the Indian Under-19 team will play three One Day matches and two multi-day (four-day) matches. Notably, Anvay Dravid—the younger son of legendary batter Rahul Dravid—was named in the Indian Under-19 squad for this tour on Thursday.

The BCCI's Junior Cricket Committee selected the squad for the upcoming tour, which comprises three One Day and two multi-day matches. Yashvardhan Singh Chauhan will captain both the One Day and multi-day teams, while Lakshya Raichandani will serve as the vice-captain for both squads.

Dravid Jr. has been included as one of two wicketkeeping options in the One Day squad alongside Rajat Baghel, whereas Manav Krishna and Aryan Sandesh Sakpal have been selected as wicketkeepers for the multi-day matches. The 17-year-old Dravid led the Karnataka Under-19 team to the quarter-finals in the previous Vinoo Mankad Trophy; he scored 220 runs across six matches, with a highest score of an unbeaten 82. He also played for the India Under-19 'B' team in a triangular domestic series held in Bengaluru, which featured the India 'A' and Afghanistan Under-19 teams.

Following consistent performances in domestic cricket, he was also selected for 'Team C' in the Under-19 One Day Challenger Trophy. In 2024, Dravid's elder son, Samit Dravid, was selected for the Indian Under-19 squad for a home bilateral series against Australia but had to miss the series due to an injury.
