As part of the 2026 Continental Cup, a nine-match T20I tournament featuring four European associate nations will be held in Romania from June 19 to 21. Hosts Romania will welcome teams from Belgium, Hungary, and Switzerland at the Moara Vlasiei Cricket Ground near Bucharest.
The tournament will also serve as preparation for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2028 Europe pathway, as all four teams are set to compete in the Sub-Regional Qualifier B in Denmark next month. Hungary enters the event as the defending champion, having won the 2024 edition.
Three matches will be played daily in a round-robin format over the first two days, followed by two semi-finals and the title clash on June 21. All nine matches will be played at the same venue.
Over the first two days, the four teams play a single round-robin consisting of six matches, with each team facing the other three once. Subsequently, all four teams advance to the semi-finals on June 21, where seedings are determined based on the standings. The two winners of the semi-finals play the final later that same day.
