CPL 2026 Format

The format has been expanded to include a seventh franchise. All seven teams compete in a single round-robin league stage (where every team plays every other team once), resulting in a total of 21 league matches. The playoff structure mirrors the IPL model: Qualifier 1 (1st vs. 2nd), Eliminator (3rd vs. 4th), Qualifier 2 (loser of Qualifier 1 vs. winner of the Eliminator), and the Final.
