The women's team will tour India in September 2025 for a three-match ODI series, all played under lights at the iconic MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the much-awaited schedule, confirming that the matches will kick off on September 14, 17 and 20 at 1:30 pm IST. The series is the final warm-up match for both teams ahead of the World Cup, which is scheduled to be held in India from September 29 to October 26. The schedule of the tournament is yet to be released but the stakes for either team could not be higher.
This is no ordinary bilateral series but a fierce contest between two teams with unfinished business. For the Harmanpreet Kaur-led Indian team, this will be the last chance to test their strengths and decide the combination after the England tour from June 28 to July 22, which includes five T20Is and three ODIs. From now until the World Cup, these two tours are confirmed for the Indian women.
