The Asia Cup 2025 will be the 17th edition of the tournament and will officially be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from September 9 to 28, 2025. This edition will be played in the T20 format, promising a fast-paced and exciting encounter for cricket fans around the world.
The Asia Cup 2025 will begin on September 9 and the Indian cricket team will play their first match of the tournament against hosts UAE the next day. The much-awaited match between India and Pakistan will take place on September 14 and if the two rivals reach the Super 4 stage and the final, they could face each other thrice.
The Asia Cup, organised by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), was founded in 1983 and is held every two years to crown the continental champions.Now in its 17th edition, the Asia Cup cricket competition will feature eight teams divided into two groups. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super 4 stage, from where the top two teams will face off in the final on September 28.
