After defeating Pakistan, the England team has climbed one spot to reach the sixth position in the WTC points table. England achieved this position by overtaking Sri Lanka. England now has a total of 62 points from 15 matches, with a point percentage (PCT) of 34.44%. Given the Pakistan team's performance, England has an excellent opportunity to complete a 3-0 series clean sweep.

However, despite the improvement in the points table, the path to the WTC final appears extremely difficult for England. The main reason for this is the impressive point percentage of the top-ranked teams:
